Well since this will be my first blog post and you are my first readers I think a little background of why I decided to begin this journey into the unknown.
I am a forty something divorced mom to four kids who is completely starting over. I could go on and on about how bad the marriage had been, my tragic childhood and the spiral downward into depression but this is about the beginning of new so why dwell on the old?
The one thing that has been a stabilizer in my life for the last 8 years has been baking, cake decorating, sugar techniques, teaching others and learning new things.
I have been going to college on and off for over 17 years in pursuit of the dream of obtaining a business degree and eventually one day having my own business. My time to completion is dwindling down and achievement of this goal will be in 2016.
Right now I am taking small steps into actually selling the things that I bake & decorate. First things first is developing recipes that others will like.
