December 3, 2017
Since this is the last month of the year and it has been approximately 3 months since the last time I spoke of statistics related to my blogging and social media accounts, this is just a short update. I am pleasantly surprised by the amount of progress made.
In September this was the information: 1000 Views on the blog site, 17 Bloggers following, 26 Countries visited the Blog, 82 Posts written, and 239 Instagram followers.
Today, December 3, 2017, here is where it stands: 1340 Views on the blog site, 37 Bloggers following, 30 Countries visited the blog, 108 Posts written, and 806 Instagram followers
Looking at the numbers is awe-inspiring for me because I remember where I was 2 years ago when I started down this path to self-awareness and healing.
I remember the trepidation I had about letting my voice be heard again.
I remember how hesitant I was about opening up to others and allowing others in the world know who I am.
I remember the feelings invoked by each character, symbol, and word typed. Filling the pages with not only thoughts about the world around me but also the feelings inside of me.
This journey into becoming a stronger and a more resilient person has had both highs and lows throughout the last two years.
Two years filled with heartache, grief, mourning, hopelessness, depression, and anxiety.
On the flip side were the love, happiness, friendships, family, strength, hope, faith, and belief that continued to guide me through it all.
So as this month starts winding down and we move into another year, I look forward to whatever is next around the corner.
I look forward to continued growth not only within myself but for my children as well.
Life keeps moving on.
You have to stop every once in a while smell the roses, feel the sun on your face, let the wind caress your body and allow the rain to wash away that day’s worries.
Close your eyes to the past and open your mind to the future.
Let each moment become a part of who you are meant to be.
Remember that is all it is, just a moment in time, and tomorrow is a new day to start again.
Thank you for stopping by.
Have an awesome week!
I hope peace, love, and happiness always find you!
